One of the things that I love about my job is that we are constantly looking for new techniques and technology to make your skin look even more beautiful and healthy. Dr. Wulc and I have been researching and testing new IPL systems for about a year, looking for best results. We found and purchased what I now call my newest partner at W Skin Studio: The Sciton BBL™

The Broadband Light or BBL is a phototherapy system that allows us to set new standards for the treatment. The treatments tackle sun damage, age spots, small facial veins, rosacea, brown spots, skin laxity, skin texture, pore size, and acne. In fact, it’s so impressive, that this state of the art system has been featured on numerous television shows such as The Doctors, Dr Oz and Extra TV. We did a video to show you how it works.

Forever Young BBL™ skin rejuvenation is the only IPL device that has been shown to change the gene expression associated with aging. It regenerates skin and delays the aging process creating a clearer smoother much younger looking skin. In a medical study done over 9 years, patients who continued maintenance after their initial series of treatments, skin samples appeared not to aged over the 9 years! And the patient skin looked 10 years younger than their actual age!

This system uses a cooling crystal head that keeps the skin cool, enabling the light to go deeper without burning. This allows me to get quicker results. I have been using the system since December and cannot stress how fabulous the results are on many part of the body. Better yet, there’s virtually no downtime. I have received many calls from patients after their series of treatments telling me that their families and friends cannot believe how great their skin looks! Here are a few examples of my real patients after a series of BBL treatments.
